We're a home for new anglers, a community for those already hooked, and a training ground for the coaches who'll shape the sport's future.

Founded by the team at Peterborough & District Angling Association, School Of Fish grew out of years of coaching at one of the country's biggest and busiest clubs. We took what worked on the bank, built it into a proper scheme anyone can follow, and opened it up to everyone. We do three things.

What we do

We take complete beginners and turn them into confident, capable anglers. Everyone follows the same five-tier graduation scheme, from a first cast with a coach's hand on the rod to fishing a whole session on their own. Qualified coaches guide every step, and they all learned the same way. There's no test you can fail. You move up when you're ready.

We train the next generation of coaches through our own in-house programme. Anyone with the right attitude can qualify, wherever they live, and go on to run sessions in their own club or fishery. More good coaches mean more people fishing, and that's how the sport keeps going.

And we build the community around all of it. Adults, juniors, beginners, lapsed anglers and future coaches. It doesn't matter how old you are, how long it's been, or whether you've ever picked up a rod. Whoever you are and whatever you're after, there's a place at School Of Fish for you.
