Franchise

School Of Fish, in your area.

School Of Fish runs as a franchise. Any club or fishery can deliver the same Diploma, the same coaching standards and the same kit to learners in their own area, backed by us.

A taster day isn't a plan

Getting someone to try fishing once is easy. Keeping them is the hard part, and it's where most participation effort falls down. A free taster day fills a bank for an afternoon and gives you a handful of photos, but most of those people never pick up a rod again. They had a nice day out. They didn't become anglers.

What turns a first cast into a lasting one is a structured programme. A clear path with milestones a learner can see and a coach can sign off, ending with someone who can fish on their own. People stay when they can feel themselves getting better and know what comes next. Take that structure away and you're back running the same intro session over and over to a different set of faces.

Building that structure is the graft, and it's what School Of Fish hands you ready-made. The Diploma is the pathway and your coaches deliver it. Nobody has to invent a curriculum or guess at what good looks like.

What you get

The SOF Diploma You run the full Diploma, twenty-five badges and five awards, with the SOF Masters beyond them: the Junior Assistant award and the Carp, Lure, Specialist and Match specialisms. The same scheme every School Of Fish learner works through. You deliver it, you don't have to build it.

The Coaches Community Your coaches join ours. The same support, advice and CPD every School Of Fish coach gets, with a line back to the educator who trained them.

Clubmate, free upgrade You run the operation on Clubmate, the platform we use ourselves, bookings, memberships, the Diploma awards and member messaging. SOF franchises get a free upgrade to the next package up.

The platform Booking, records, awards and automated learner emails on Clubmate. A coach register with licensing, compliance tracking and renewal reminders. Certificate and licence generation. World of Fish and the School Library. Tooling a bigger competitor would need years to answer, and you get it on day one.

Every franchise operates to a published minimum operating standard: the policies, the people, and the sessions a School Of Fish keeps running.

The Platform You Run It On

Every franchise gets its own dashboard. Your coaches, what each of them holds, and what is about to lapse, on one screen. Add someone, invite them, check their paperwork and mark them qualified without a spreadsheet anywhere near it.

The scheduler sits alongside it. Put your sessions up, and your coaches say yes or no from their own dashboards. Each session shows what it has against what it needs, so you know a Saturday is short before it arrives rather than on the morning.

Nobody can be marked qualified until everything their level requires is recorded, and a coach whose first aid has lapsed cannot lead. The compliance is enforced by the platform rather than by memory.
